Priority Project Research is the intensive and focused research program addressing the issues that are required socially to resolve and expected to achieve the distinct accomplishment within the scope of mid-term goal. The research outcome should be reflected properly in the public works by Hokkaido Regional Development Bureau and others.
Public Works Research Institute conducts 17 Priority Project Researches, of which Civil Engineering Research Institute is assigned for 7 Researches and Tsukuba Central Research Institute 10. Civil Engineering Research Institute cooperates on 2 of 10 Tsukuba Researches.
In addition, there are 2 schemes of researches;
Strategic Research, whose necessity is especially high and should be implemented strategically General Research.
