Commissioned Research

This system conducts research commissioned by the central government, local public entities, public interest corporations, etc. to promote efficient improvement of infrastructures and the rise technical standards in local aress, by making use of techniques that the institute has accumulated over more than half a century.

Joint Research

CERI improves the efficiency of its research by teaming with universities, other research institutes and other organizations.

Admission of Temporary Researchers

Researchers are invited from outside and are dispatched from this Institute to other research institutions, to promote exchanges among universities and research institutions of every kind. This is in a bid to acquire advanced skills and technologies in new fields, which are necessary to carry on research plans of the institute.

Specially Assigned Trainees

Trainees are accepted from local public entities, public interest corporations, etc., to promote the improvement of the technical level of the region and the spread of techniques by utilizing results of experimental research of the Institute, thereby contributing actively to the development of local society.

Researchers studying overseas

This institute is dispatching researchers to overseas universities and research institutions on mid-and long-term basis, toward improving the researchers' quality and promoting international interchanges of technology.
