The CERI 2017 Open House was held on July 7 and 8 of this year. The weather was very fine both days and a total of 1,372 people visited this event.
Also, each team's demonstration and explanation concerning their researches and technologies were easy to understand by both children and adults.
During the Open House, we provided a special opportunity of research briefing for civil engineers. In addition, we presented a variety of hands on activities where the guests could increase their experience such as by
- making original things using materials such as rock, cement and paper.
- trying to touch sea creatures and so on.
- participating in scientific experiments.
We will continue to learn from this event and aim to create a research institute which can be more useful in the future. Thank you for visiting our institute. We look forward to seeing you again next year.
